Intensive Helicopter Pilot Training in the UK

We have two options for intensive Helicopter Pilot Training. The first is for Contract training offered for Military and Civil Courses through our associate company Tiger Aviation (www.tigeraviation.co.uk). They are the largest capacity Helicopter School in the UK. They accept contracts from 5 to 60 students on fulltime courses with all accommodation and transportation included.
The second option is for individuals who wish to learn to fly a helicopter at our local school, Tiger Helicopters. Whether you have never flown before or if you are a commercial pilot or flight instructor – all are welcome. And if you are unsure, we offer a free, no obligation, trial helicopter lesson.

What happens in our intensive helicopter pilot training?
You learn to fly using either the Robinson R22, R44 or Bell 206 JetRanger. To obtain your Private Pilot License in your helicopter lessons you are required to fly a minimum of 45 hours which is reduced to 39 hours if you have an aeroplane license.
